Volunteering

Riddells Creek Neighbourhood House operates purely with the support of a dedicated volunteer team. The House provides a number of opportunities to get involved in.

We are always seeking volunteers to fill many different positions and we’d love to hear from you. Did you know you can even volunteer at the House as part of your Centrelink mutual obligation requirements?

We very much appreciate help from volunteers to assist in the office answering phones, following up with enquiries, taking bookings, working on special projects and events, helping in our beautiful garden and just being a friendly face to welcome our House users. Volunteering opportunities can be one off or ongoing.

We are currently actively seeking an office volunteer to support us for one day per week between 9:30-3:00pm. Please see the position description here.

Governance/Committee of Management

Our Committee plays an integral part in the direction of the house. Without the dedication of our committee, the house wouldn’t be what it is today. We are interested to hear from folks who may have an interest in joining our committee in the future.
